What are Type A+B LED tubes?
Combination Type A+B tubes are hybrid which can be installed as plug-and-play or as ballast bypass. It is important to ensure ballast compatibility for these tubes if planned to use with existing fluorescent ballast. Type AB can be used with or without a ballast. It is ultimately the buyer's preference what they want to do. Type A installation uses the LED Tube + Ballast power for more energy consumption compared to Type B installation only uses the raw tube power and is more energy-efficient.
