For warehouse owners and operators, having the right lighting can make a major difference in the efficiency of your operations. There are several types of lighting that can be used, including natural lighting, fluorescent lighting, LED lighting and high-intensity discharge (HID) lighting. Natural lighting is the most cost-effective and energy-efficient option, but it is not always available due to geographical location or building design. There are several different LED lighting fixtures that are suited for properly lighting a warehouse space including round UFO high bay fixtures and linear high bay fixtures are great for spaces with high ceilings (greater than 12').
