This 2" LED Recessed Housing is designed for new construction applications and can be used with insulated and non-insulated ceilings. Please Note - This model does require access above the ceiling. The airtight construction provides reduced energy costs as well. Perfect for any residential or commercial application.
This new construction recessed housing is ideal for applications where the ceiling is not installed, and the joists are exposed.
- Composed of galvanized steel construction and integral T-bar installation slots.
- Pre-installed nails allow for easy installs in regular and engineered lumber.
- Adjustable bar hangers from 13.6" to 25".
- Certified under ASTM-E283 for airtight construction.
- Compatible with the following trims:

- BLED-2T-GRW-SQ (LEDRECS1000051512)
- BLED-2T-BW (LEDRECS1000051513)
This housing unit is cULus listed for damp and wet locations making it ideal for areas that are regularly exposed to moisture and condensation and where it may come in direct contact with water spray, rain, or snow. They can be installed in a non-protected outside area in both residential and commercial settings.
